Most punctures can be repaired safely and cheaply in under 20 minutes. If the damage is too severe to fix — a split sidewall, for example — we'll tell you honestly and help you find a replacement at a fair price.
Most cars made after 2012 have a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) built in. If the warning light comes on, or if it stays lit after you've checked your pressures, there's usually a sensor issue. We can diagnose and repair TPMS faults to get the warning light off and the system working properly again.
Nitrogen maintains a more consistent pressure than ordinary air, particularly in colder weather and at higher speeds. It also reduces moisture inside the tyre, which can help slow the oxidation of the wheel rim over time. We offer nitrogen inflation as an upgrade for any customer who wants that extra bit of stability in their tyre pressures.
Running winter tyres in the colder months gives you noticeably better grip in cold, wet and icy conditions. When the warmer weather comes back, we'll swap them out and refit your summer set. If you need somewhere to store your off-season tyres, ask us and we'll see what we can arrange.
